The Dama Gazelle, also known as the addra gazelle or mhorr gazelle. With origins tracing back to the Sahara desert and Sahel regions of Africa, Texas ranches like Buck Horn Ranch are critical to the preservation of this critically endangered species. The Dama Gazelle features a white coat with reddish-brown patches on the head, neck, and back, and both males and females have S-shaped ringed horns, with males’ horns reaching up to 15 inches in length.
